Walmart is not our favourite store. Hardly anything organic, poor reputation as an employer etc. However, they have ways of dragging you back in, which are almost impossible to resist.
The first visit at Lake Powell was to purchase a cast iron pan that cost $24.97! We resisted it when we were buying our camping supplies. What a ridiculous thing to buy, how are we going to get it back on the plane, it'll have to go in hand luggage. But $24.97 for a cast iron pan, we both agreed we had to get one. Already it has delivered some great blueberry pancakes.
Next purchase was to get a cheap tripod, otherwise we wouldn't have made it on the Antelope Canyon photography trip.
Finally, as we were leaving Lake Powell I suddenly realised that as I had signed up to do a 30 day abs challenge on Facebook, I would need some sort of mat. So back we went again
Sadly the baseball cap was from our first trip to Walmart, an emergency $2 hat, that I have not yet replaced!
We have to give Walmart up, I know it will be tough, but we can do it!
